PAID INTERNSHIP FOR RWANDAN YOUNG GRADUATES

DOT Rwanda is pleased to bring a unique opportunity to your doorstep!
DOT supports young people to become Community Leaders, Digital Ambassadors, and Social Innovators in their communities.



This year, selected young people between the ages of 18 and 30 years will have an outstanding opportunity to work in 10 districts of Rwanda. During their placement, they will support DOT Rwanda’s 2018 Impactathon, and complete Youth Leadership courses. They will also offer digital skills and innovation training to their communities, fostering a grassroots network of young people creating local opportunities.
Through this unique experience, young leaders are provided with a monthly stipend and communication and transport facilitation for successful program delivery. Youth who have their own innovative social solution projects will also have the opportunity to access seed funds through the Impactathon program.
Kindly note that only people residing in the following districts will be considered:
Gasabo, Nyarugenge, Kayonza, Karongi, Nyagatare, Musanze, Rulindo, Gisagara, Ngororero, Rusizi
Requirements:
– Aged between 18-30 years;
– Be a University or college graduate;
– Be a resident of one of the districts mentioned above;
– Have commitment to work with DOT Rwanda for one year;
– Ability to do online learning;
– Be passionate about community empowerment;
– Have basic digital literacy skills;
– Ability to speak and write both Kinyarwanda and English;
